After weeks of working with the vibrant colours people normally use in flow art, I wanted to try more subtle colours. Using bronze, silver, gold and black paint, I aimed for a ‘floral’ work and ended up with what can best be described as tree bark! But I love it. This painting epitomizes the frustration of ‘flow’ painting, in that the painter can plan exactly what they want to create, but the paint has the last laugh.
